Gogte Institute of Technology (GIT) is a self-financing Engineering College started in 1979 to meet the growing demand for technically trained manpower for industrial growth of the country. The college is managed by Karnatak Law Society and is affiliated to Visveswaraiah Technological University, Belgaum, INDIA. SNDT Womens University is the first Womens university in India as well as in South-East Asia. The University was founded by Maharshi Dr. Dhondo Keshav Karve in 1916 for a noble cause of Womens Education. The first five women graduated in 1921 from this University. The University Headquarters is in Churchgate Campus, Mumbai and the other two campuses of this University are at Juhu, Mumbai and Karve Road, Pune.

This institution was started in the year 2001 with the main Objective of providing high quality education to the student community.
